We’re in another world, far from reality,
But to us it’s much more than fantasy.
We’re holding hands, walking around
Aimlessly, not conscious of any sound.
The rain’s coming down but we’re not feeling,
The bird’s flying around yet we’re only seeing
Each other, because our world’s meant just for us
To understand. A puzzle to strangers who thus
Think that because we play on trees we’re crazy,
Or lie hours by the river we’re lazy.
But when from them to fantasy we run,
It’s because in there we have much more fun.
The games we play when we’re alone
In our world, where there’s no cry or moan,
Bring much more satisfaction and happiness,
And help build firmer our world of togetherness.
The times at the beach the water we splash
Like kids, or when our opinions violently clash,
We grow in love, unity and strength,
And to our friendship we add more length.
So when one of us is all alone, it’s more than just
The daydreaming they scold us for with disgust.
They do not know of the fun we have each day
When we’re alone, from the games we play.
